Physical therapy is a healthcare specialty that focuses on the prevention, management, and treatment of movement disorders or impairments, such as pain, weakness, or loss of mobility. Physical therapists work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds to help them achieve their optimal physical functioning and improve their quality of life.

Physical therapists use a variety of techniques and interventions, such as exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and education, to address these conditions and help their patients achieve their optimal physical functioning.

Our physical therapists can treat a wide range of conditions that affect the musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular systems. Some common conditions that physical therapists treat include:

1. Orthopedic conditions: These are conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system, such as arthritis, back pain, neck pain, joint pain, and sprains or strains.

2. Neurological conditions: These are conditions that affect the nervous system, such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injuries.

3. Cardiovascular conditions: These are conditions that affect the heart and cardiovascular system, such as heart disease, hypertension, and pulmonary disease.

4. Sports injuries: These are injuries that occur during sports or exercise, such as muscle strains, ligament sprains, and fractures.

5. Chronic pain: This is pain that lasts for longer than three months and can be caused by a variety of conditions, such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and neuropathic pain.
